The inspector did not observe a staff person telling these people to put a mask on.

Plexiglas (or other) barriersThe bell desk is very large with two computer stations, but there was only Plexiglas in front of one of the stations (see photo below).

The valet stand had no Plexiglas or other barriers to keep a distance between workers and guests. Workers were wearing masks but not face shields.

Hand sanitizerThere was no visible hand sanitizer at the bell desk, valet stand, public women’s restroom, ATMS, and some elevator entrances.
Social distancing There were areas where lines may form (concierge desks, ATMs, retail spaces, and the valet area) that did not have markings on the floor to encourage social distancing.

The upper lobby and lower lobby had seating that was not spaced 6 feet apart or more.

SignageThere were signs telling guests to wear masks, practice social distancing, wash hands, and have no more than 4 people in the elevator at a time. There are also signs promoting Outrigger’s Clean Commitment. However, neither the signs nor the website state what will happen if guests do not comply with these guidelines.

40% of non-staff observed by Local 5’s inspector were not wearing masks. The inspection team did not observe a staff person telling these people to put a mask on.

There were no signs in the women’s public restroom regarding hand washing, mask wearing, or social distancing.
